I already knew from when I was in my early twenties that AR (Acoustic Research) made great speakers but I didn't expect that these, for the price, would be that great. Look, they are not $500.00 Bose, but you won't be dissatisfied.
Nice Job AR. I also love the little switch on the transformer to change the frequency if interference interrupts the transmission.
I love that you can plug them into your computer and listen to your downloads in a shuffle mode enjoying uninterrupted music. I also want to say that because of the quality,I will probably be buying another two by the end of the year to place in other rooms.
I had read all the reviews for these speakers before my purchasing them. I was wrong.
I had them on the deck during the summer and people at my summer party had remarked how great they were.
Easy setup, no adjusting to link the speaker with the sending unit, just plug it in and turn up the volume. The sound quality is also vey good.
It worked well right out of the box. Provide excellent sound quality on my patio which is exactly what I wanted.
I think they were a great buy for the money and would definitely recommend them for anyone who wants more speakers without having to run the wiring. Keep in mind, though, that unless you're ready to change batteries often, you still need to find an electrical outlet to plug each speaker into. One speaker still has a "hiss" despite trying my best to find a better location. Three of the 4 work perfectly. The sound quality was better than expected. I have a large pool area that required additional outdoor speakers. I bought 4 wireless AR AW822 speakers. I like the individual volume control on each speaker.
I highly recommend this product. Setting up this speaker was really easy. I came to Amazon and when I realized how affordable it was I bought it instantly. On 8 C batteries the speaker went all day. This speaker is amazing. I heard about this particular model when I was reading articles about outdoor wireless speakers. I ran it on battery power during one of my pool parties for about 6-8 hours and was very impressed with the sound quality, and extremely impressed with the battery life.
